At Koa & Kind, we use 100% all-natural (petroleum-free) Organic Soy Wax, Natural Wood Wicks and Phthalate and Paraben-free fragrance oils.

Benefits of soy wax candles:

• Soy wax candles are made from soybeans and are a great alternative to petroleum-based paraffin wax.
• Soy wax candles will burn slower and longer than paraffin candles.
• Soy wax candles are 100% vegan and do not require any animal products in their production or use.
• Soy wax is biodegradable.

Important to note:

• Candles may vary in colour, texture and appearance as they are handmade.
• Sinkholes can occur after burning as the wax tries to get back to its original form. This is a common characteristic of soy wax and has no impact on the candle’s performance.
• Glass adhesion may occur during shipping due to temperature changes in the environment. This has no impact on the performance of the candle.

Our candles are made with soy wax. Soy wax is a renewable resource. It is made from soybeans so it is a natural and biodegradable substance. Our candles are housed in glass jars that can be cleaned out and reused for other storage purposes. All our candles are packed in recyclable packaging materials. Some of our candles reuse the bubble wrap the vessels were originally shipped in.
